Synopsis
One morning, two African children, Bafiokadie and his sister Tene, leave their village determined to find their long lost blue bird before the day is over. However, they discover much more along the way than expected. The meet up with their deceased grandparents, they fight the soul of the forest, and learn from the Chief of Pleasure. Each encounter offers them a lesson about life and death. At the end of their journey, the siblings enter the Kingdom of the Future where they meet some yet-to-be born children. Despite their initial loss, they end their journey having gained something new.
