Synopsis

Reluctant activist Daniel Goldstein struggles to save his home and community from being bulldozed to make way for a high profile real estate development. After searching for over five years, graphic designer Daniel happily settles in a condo in Brooklyn. Within a few months of moving in, he discovers that his neighborhood has been slated for a development referred to as the Atlantic Yards that will replace the existing businesses and residences with 16 skyscrapers and a sports complex. When the government begins to use eminent domain to force out the locals, Daniel fights tenaciously to save his neighborhood, rallying his community, participating in demonstrations, organizing meetings, and giving media interviews and tours to reveal the corruption at the heart of the plan.
