Synopsis

Feigning flight from the law, Jim Smith (the "Oklahoma Cyclone") maneuvers his way into McKim's gang and is immediately attracted to Carmelita, though he temporarily heeds McKim's warning to avoid her. The gang robs a bank and goes across the border, where McKim is keeping prisoner a dying sheriff--Jim's father, the discovery of whose whereabouts was Jim's object in joining the gang. McKim perceives Jim's ruse and sets out to teach him a lesson; Jim is getting the worst of the ensuing fight when Slim pulls his gun to keep the other gang members at bay. Jim rallies, and Carmelita brings a posse.
