Synopsis

Gwen Stewart, a salesclerk in the men's furnishings section of a department store, falls in love with wealthy young Kirk Randolph. In spite of the fact that she is engaged to the floorwalker, Elmer, and is warned by her roommate, Maude, the adventuresome Gwen goes to Kirk's apartment, where she is soon convinced of his less than honorable intentions. But when she is making plans with Elmer for their future and he makes advances, she returns to Kirk for a "wild time" and is treated to the delights of a Greenwich Village studio. The next morning she is surprised to find herself in Kirk's bed, but he contents her by the assurance that he spent the night in another room.
