Synopsis

The tenor of a grand opera troupe, Mario Delmonte, discovers stowaway Carla on a ship traveling to Monte Carlo, and the two begin a romance. When the opera house director cancels their concert, the troupe members stage a performance in the square adjacent to the auditorium, stealing away the director's audience.
