Synopsis
Tom, a student, gets drunk in a Soho clip joint run by Kleinie, a gangster. Jo Lake, who has been working the "outraged husband" con game, arrives home with Tom and discovers Mark, her partner in crime, stabbed to death by Kleinie, under whose auspices the pair had operated. Inebriated, Tom touches the murder weapon and thus involves himself; whereupon Jo forces him to dispose of the corpse. Tom drives the automobile so erratically, however, that he attracts the police and becomes the prime suspect. To clear himself, Tom, helped by his fiancée, Mary, and by his friends Glynn and Roy, tracks down Jo. Subsequently, Jo and Tom are kidnaped by Kleinie, who fatally shoots the woman when the police corner him.
