Synopsis
Dr. Houghland, an inventor who has developed a machine for broadcasting television, gives a party in his home to demonstrate his new device and is apparently murdered by his own invention. Chief of Police Nelson demands that the guests remain for questioning and narrows the suspects down to household servants Isabella and Au Ling; Richard Grayson, who is in love with Houghland's daughter June; brain specialist Dr. Scofield; and Arthur Perry, who has been hired by Houghland's competitor Donald Jordan. During Nelson's investigation, Perry's death complicates the proceedings; but his identical twin brother, who happens to be a detective, arrives and exposes Dr. Scofield as the murderer.

Notes
The film includes one song performed by June Collyer, however, the title of that song has not been determined. Film Daily noted that $75,000 worth of actual television equipment was used on the set, and also that the final cost of the picture was under the $35,000 originally budgeted.
