Synopsis
After a new law in Los Angeles decrees that the first ambulance at the scene will get the job, Harry Fishbine's low-budget, freelance service is struggling to compete with the larger companies. His best driver is Mother, who is working a new partner, Speed. Speed is a former policeman who, after being accused of drug use and kicked off the force, wants to prove himself in a new career. Jugs is the well-endowed secretary at the company who wants to rise above her job in the office and work as a paramedic.
