Synopsis

Vaudeville headliners Molly and Jim Wilson have been waiting for 10 years for their chance on Broadway, but when it comes, it comes for Jim alone, headlining the Frolics at $1,000 a week. Molly stays in New York with Jim for a while, but eventually she returns to her former vaudeville troupe. Jim falls in love with his co-star, Peggy Lanier, and writes to Molly, asking for his freedom. He then discovers that Peggy is engaged and, coming to his senses, goes to find Molly. They do their old act together, and Molly pretends that she has not had time to read the letter. Jim tears it up, and he and Molly are reconciled.
