Synopsis
Jim Slade is a former Chicago policeman who has just finished serving time in prison for shooting his wife's lover in his bed. Jim goes to live with friends in a small town where he has gotten a job as a night watchman at a college. When daughter of senator is murdered on campus, the town's sheriff accuses the college's Bible-quoting, porn-watching janitor, but Jim has other ideas. So he pursues an investigation of his own. .
