Synopsis
Guillo and Doris Blanco, a young couple living with their 9 year old daughter, Sofia, in Queens. Doris works for a wine distributor selling wines to local restaurants. But Cuillo, a mechanic in Willets Point, is fearful of losing his job when his employer is targeted for the City's exercise of eminent domain. Financial problems mount when they are threatened with eviction. Their marriage is tested when these circumstances bring to light a troubled past and an unbearable future, as Doris is diagnosed with a rare and fatal disease known as Huntington's disease. The film intimately explores the lives of these ordinary people and the extraordinary resilience of their all too human condition.
