Synopsis
Walter is the aging police chief of a small, Mennonite town in Ontario. When a non-local woman is found dead by the lake, Walter faces his first murder investigation. Although he is haunted by a recent incident caused by his own temper and dealing with complications from his ex-girlfriend, Walter does his best to help the state police officer overseeing the investigation. When the victim is identified, it appears that his ex has been lying.
