Synopsis
Albanian villager Arben wants to marry Etleva, daughter of a neighboring clan, but her father has promised her to another man who is offering a 10,000 Euros bride price. But when it turns out Etleva is carrying Arben's child, the pressure is on for him to come up with the money before the baby is born -- and before her brothers take revenge for the dishonor he has brought their family. As an illegal immigrant in Berlin, there are not many choices for him to earn money. After starting out in a job paying 3 Euros per hour, he gets to know a guy who is into human trafficking. Desperate for money, Arben joins him and is pretty successful. Then, his boss gets killed by a Polish rival, and he looses an eye and all his money. Under pressure, Arben realizes that he has to rely on himself in this world, robs the Polish guy and returns back to Albania in a Mercedes, dressed in a suit, with loads of Euros in his pockets. However, he is too late.
