Synopsis

Bill Mason, a Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman, is sent South to arrest Calhoun for the murder of a trapper. Bill encounters young Andy Kirby, a runaway, and escorts him back to his uncle, Lou Kirby. Lou wants to raise a posse to capture the gang that is raiding his horse ranch. In a cantina, Andy spills beer on a stranger, who angrily throws him across the room. Bill fights with the stranger, suspecting that he is Calhoun. The ranchers and the marshal elect Bill to head their posse. After the posse captures one of the horse thieves, Calhoun plots to steal all the herds that night and take them across the Mexican border. Calhoun's cohort, Noverres, captures Lou and Andy at their ranch and ties them up, but they manage to get free. Meanwhile, Marian Kirby, Bill's girl and Andy's aunt, rides into town to tell him about the raid. Calhoun appears at the cantina to take back the accomplice that Bill arrested and a fight ensues. Calhoun escapes but the posse catches him. The ranchers agree to let Bill return Calhoun to Canada, where he will receive justice at the hands of the law.
