Synopsis
Interviewed by newspaper correspondent Nick Rawlins, Young Hi Park, a nurse serving in an American medical unit in South Vietnam, recounts her childhood experiences in Korea. Among her memories is the communist siege of Inch'on in 1950, in which her mother was killed and Young Hi rescued and adopted by a platoon of American marines, all but two of whom were slain thereafter. Inspired by their memory, Young Hi became a nurse.
