Synopsis

Lady Jane Winston, seeking to further her interests in the West Africa Ivory and Rubber Co., which George Castle has been managing to suit his own interests, becomes involved with a beachcomber, Jim Clayton, once in her company's employ, and a dog that adopts Jim as his master. The two save Jane's life, and she deputizes Jim to help her trap Castle; he discovers a cache of ivory that Castle has hidden but is surprised by Castle's men and imprisoned. Rinty takes a message to Lady Jane and then helps effect Jim's escape. Castle kidnaps Jane and inspires a native uprising against the whites. While Jim and his friends are defending her, Rinty goes to a British outpost for help and thus saves the day.
