Synopsis
Professors Sneed and Harris recognize an antique vase in an antique store as part of a secret treasure. Sneed and Harris track down the sailor, Dick Nelson, who sold the vase to the antique dealer, and they hire him as a guide. Sneed and Harris rent a boat from Captain King and a crew including Bull Dennis, Dick's enemy. At sea, the captain's daughter, Madge, is discovered on board, and Bull incites the crew to mutiny. Bull is placed in the brig when he is seen clubbing a sailor who was reluctant to join in the mutiny. When land is sighted, the mutineers release Bull, but an accidental explosion occurs and the ship blows up. The survivors land on two different parts of an island, and each group begins independent searches for the treasure. Dick and Madge are the first to locate the ruins, followed by Sneed, and then Bull and his mutineers. Dick finds the piece that matches the vase, and after he fights his way past Bull, he finds King, who has spied an oceanliner anchored near the island. The crew of the oceanliner rescues King and his friends. As they head for home, King and Sneed make plans for the complete treasure, and Dick declares his love for Madge.
