Co-directors Greg Watkins and Caveh Zahedi, classmates at UCLA Film School from 1986-1989, have previously collaborated on the short films "Blood and Milk" (1987), "When It Rains" (1987), "Dog Story" (1988) and "Wadek's Mother's Friend's Son" (1989). "A Little Stiff" (1990) is their feature directorial debut.
