Synopsis
Babou, an idle and jovial woman, has never been concerned about social success. However, when she discovers her daughter is too ashamed to invite her to her wedding, she decides to get back on the right track. Deeply hurt, Babou distract herself by selling time-share apartments in Ostend, in mid-winter. In this strange out-of-season coastal resort, Babou could be tempted to take life easy, but determined to win back her daughter's respect, she sticks it out in hopes of offering her daughter a decent wedding gift.
