Synopsis
Alamo Bowie is sent by the authority of Wells-Fargo to capture the stagecoach robbers that have been plaguing their Twin Forks, New Mexico, route. He works undercover as a ranchhand at John Golden's ranch, which is a pleasure for Alamo because he is attracted to John's daughter Betty. Alamo immediately runs afoul of the Big Four gang, which is comprised of One Shot Brady, Sam Logan, Tom Willis and Pecos Brown, who are responsible for the robberies. John is taken hostage by Willis, who demands $10,000, but Alamo later captures Willis and jails him, then releases John with the help of Sheriff Grant. Willis is shot to death in his cell, and the sheriff suspects Joe Hernandez of his murder. The sheriff and Alamo entrap Joe, and he reveals that Brady's hiding place is in the back of the Ramos cantina. Brady has disappeared by the time Alamo arrives, but Alamo finds a note from the Bank of Lordsberg, where a robbery recently occurred. Alamo then finds Logan in the cantina and has him escorted out of town after Logan confesses that he stayed in town while Brady committed all the bank and stagecoach robberies. Betty sights Brady on Pearl Mountain and warns Alamo, who intercepts Brady as he is robbing the stagecoach. Brady gets away with the gold after killing a driver, but Alamo tracks him down and they face off. After revealing the location of the stolen gold, Brady pulls his gun, but not before Alamo has pulled his gun and shot him. Impressed by Alamo and aware that Betty loves him, John offers Alamo half-interest in his ranch, and Alamo accepts.
