Synopsis
Paul Cardenas and his brother Vince continue their long-standing feud over Paul's former girl friend whom Vince made pregnant. After the girl died mysteriously, Paul left their Arizona ranch to wander. He returns to find that Vince is trying to provoke a war with the Apaches so that property values will drop and he can buy the land cheaply. When a government Indian agent arrives, Vince has him killed with Apache arrows to prevent any peaceful settlement of Indian claims and then places a bounty on all Indian scalps. When the Apaches retaliate by attacking a wagon train, Paul arrives in time to save Kate Mayfield, daughter of the town sheriff. Vince encourages the local citizens to attack the Indian village, an act which results in the deaths of many Apache women and children, but the Apaches soon retaliate with an attack on the town. Simultaneously, Sheriff Mayfield reveals to Paul that Vince murdered the former girl friend when she threatened to name him as her baby's father. In the resulting melee, both Vince and Mayfield are killed, but Paul survives to ride out of town with his new lover, Kate.
