Synopsis
Smooth-faced, villainous James Crawford cruelly beats his handsome police dog, Rinty, and Carroll Blackton, a fur trader, buys the dog from him. Crawford later sends Carroll out with a sled-load of furs and hires Butch Nelson to kill him. Nelson robs Carroll and leaves him for dead, but Rinty saves his new master's life and cares for his wounds. When Carroll returns to civilization, he is accused of the robbery of the furs on circumstantial evidence and arrested by the Mounties. Rinty forces Nelson to confess, however, and Crawford and Nelson are arrested.
