Synopsis
In 1993, German artist Anselm Kiefer left Buchan, Germany for La Ribotte, a derelict silk factory near Barjac. There, he began constructing a series of elaborate installations, comprising 48 buildings, and a labyrinth of tunnels, bridges, lakes and towers. Here, we bear witness to Kiefer's alchemical creative processes and the personal universe he has built at this hill-studio estate in the south of France.
