Synopsis

An undercover marshal, who has been sent into the badlands to clean up a gang of Indians who have been terrorizing the country, gets a job working on the Colonel's ranch where they are preparing for an endurance race. He agrees to ride Lightning, a wild horse no other cowboy can handle. The Colonel bets on this horse against a horse owned by the secret head of a rustling gang. The marshal is blamed when the horses are stolen and another horse is maimed. He wins the race anyway and reveals that white rustlers have been masquerading as Indians in order to scare the ranchers. He tracks them to their hideout, where he singlehandedly knocks out the gang.
