Synopsis
Young Christian anarchist, Derek, runs an illegal homeless shelter out of an abandoned warehouse in Brooklyn. The Our House shelter offers an alternative to the impersonal, bureaucratic shelter system, and provides a safe haven for ex-cons, former drug addicts, and punk squatters to live a communal, spiritual, and vegan lifestyle. For many, their connection to the shelter community marks the first time they have felt anything resembling self worth. When the building is slated for demolition to make way for luxury condos, it starts to become clear what is truly slated for destruction.
