Synopsis

Industrial magnate Kawahara learns that he has cancer and will die in less than 6 months. With only his wife as legal heir to his fortune, he implores his employees to locate his three illegitimate children. One by one, the lost offspring are brought home, but none prove worthy to receive the inheritance. Rejected by his wife, he forces Yasuko, his secretary who lives in his home, to become his mistress. Before his death, Kawahara is told that Yasuko is pregnant, and he wills the inheritance to the unborn child; but it is later revealed that she has become the heiress through a clever lie.
