Synopsis

A flirtation begun in a California-bound stagecoach between Pedro DeLeón and Dolores Radanell is interrupted by bandits. The runaway horses are halted by Lieut. Tony Hopkins, who also shows an interest in Dolores. Inviting Dolores and her gambler father, Ollie Radanell, to a fiesta at his wealthy father's ranch, Pedro spends much of his time drinking and brooding over the lieutenant's obvious success with Dolores and his father's bitterness regarding Pedro's mother, Isabella. In the course of the evening, Don Pedro loses his ranch to Radanell in a card game, and a showdown between the two men reveals that Radanell took Isabella and Dolores away from Don Pedro--making Dolores Pedro's sister. Pedro defends his father in a final shooting match with Hopkins.
