Synopsis
Two intersecting stories of two different families from two different societies in entirely different time frames. Each speaks to forbidden love and its consequences. On the one hand, there is Hanna who lives in a small village in Norway during World War II and waits for her husband's return. Meanwhile, she meets Arakel, a Russian POW of Armenian origin and inevitably they have a love affair. Then, there is Laura whose love comes from a disobeying student. She lives during the 1980s when the Amenian demonstrations for independence reached their climax.
