Synopsis
About to be forced into marrying John Blackwell, Mary Marsh runs away from her mother and soon finds herself heir to a dilapidated hotel. She meets Wilbur Boswell and Addington Ganzy, insurance agents, and when she and Wilbur fall in love, the boys agree to help her operate the hotel. For a publicity stunt Ganzy fills the hotel with wealthy socialites; then Mrs. Marsh arrives with Blackwell in tow, and though she takes a violent dislike to Wilbur, she falls for Ganzy. Blackwell sends for his gang to slay the boys and clear the field for himself, but another gang, attracted by the jewelry of the dowagers, invades the scene. A pitched battle ensues when the rival gangs meet in the hotel lobby, and when the sheriff arrives, Wilbur and Ganzy modestly admit saving the jewels. Mrs. Marsh marries Ganzy, who in turn, being Mary's father, gives her to Wilbur. ...
