Synopsis
A Canadian North West Mounted Police trooper comes into the United States disguised as a fur trapper to find the murderer of his friend. With the assistance of the local sheriff, he dispels the suspicion of his own guilt and locates the real murderer, who is also a fur thief. After a posse corners the murderer, he escapes and is pursued by the mountie, who is knocked unconscious during a struggle on a cliff. The murderer escapes via a canoe, but the mountie apprehends him and he is brought to justice.
