Synopsis
Abandoned by her father, young Helena is left to live with her grandmother and occassionally makes unsuccessful attempts at suicide. A fellow student named Esteban is willing to be her boyfriend on the condition that Alicia, Helena's best friend, joins them in a trio. With some frequency, Esteban and Helena visit a video store run by their friend, Daniel, who has taken up boxing to get away from his pregnant girlfriend Sofia. Meanwhile, Sofia, hopes that by becoming a father, Daniel will give up the sport. In the end, fate settles the matter. Sofia has a car accident, loses the baby, and subsequently leaves Daniel. Devastated without her, Daniel accepts the an offer to fight Little Eduardo, knowing that the match will end badly. When Esteban leaves the country, Daniel show up to say his goodbyes. Now alone, Helena discovers that someone is watching her every move.
