Synopsis
Fifteen-year-old Alex lives alone with his father, enduring relentless physical abuse. To escape this daily nightmare, Alex rows on the Meuse river, hoping one day to win the Belgian Singles Championships. Through his coach Sergi and his love interest Muriel, Alex rediscovers the human values he has lost but it takes a long and tough learning curve.
