Synopsis
Deeply rooted convention can sometimes entrap and disparage people. Iranian women are trapped under the Chador and virginity issue which reveals a painful and paradoxical side of Iran. The women are required to obtain a certificate of virginity which often leads to the dispute over the validity of the certificate. This, in turn, induces husbands to accuse their wives, and wives' parents-in-laws accusing her parents of not being truthful. The dispute over virginity tangled with the Koranic doctrine, a male dominant society, and the issue of women's rights results in endless and painful situations.
