Synopsis
1 in 5000 people in the United States have Marfan Syndrome, a genetic disorder of the body's connective tissue which causes overgrowth of bones and the risk of severe heart problems. Those with Marfan also have to deal with its profound effect on their physical appearance. Here, we follow a group of children and adults living with Marfan, including the efforts of choreographer Ann Reinking to shape a group of kids with Marfan into a graceful dance troupe.
