Synopsis

Set in present-day Sarajevo in a large furniture shop, two night watchmen take turns checking the floors, preparing to spend the night carrying out their usual guard patrols and exchanging thoughts about their private lives. Mehir has been married for three years and hasn't had any children yet. However, his stomach pains bear a curious resemblance to pregnancy sickness. Brizla is obsessed with his diet and the man who lives across the furniture shop is a war veteran with insomnia. He calls the police and demands that they come to the scene and, using a megaphone, vents his anxieties and recriminations before the deserted street. When morning arrives, certain problems which during the night seemed unsolvable, appear less serious.
