Synopsis
Frederik Feinermann is a mild-mannered young bank clerk whose life is on the straight and narrow. He suddenly blows a fuse when the bank crisis forces him to cancel a loan of a bank customer and the customer promptly shoots himself before Frederik's eyes. Everyday rules and regulations lose their force for Frederick. He hooks up with Vince Holland, an old friend and ex-convict, and together they undertake a series of burglaries by using insider information from the bank where he works. Initially Frederik enjoys his life of crime, but what first begins as an adrenalin-fuelled hobby turns violent. In his desperation, Frederik tries to win back Nadine, an old flame. He clings to the prospect of finding a way out together with her. But he may have already gone too far.
