Synopsis
Madrid, 1953. Gilda Novas works as a typist at a radio station. A police informer and an ultra-Catholic Brotherhood militant, she hopes to get her radio union card, to make a living as a radio presenter. But the suicide of her imprisoned Republican aunt jeopardizes her plans. The manipulation of that death, and her discovery of the Brotherhood's secret activities lead to a friendship with Estanis, a young psychiatrist who opposes the dictatorship. Gilda wants to enlist Estanis in her efforts, but it is her boss Cisco, who belongs to the clandestine Communist party, who turns out to be willing to help her.
