Synopsis
Born when his mother went into labor while watching a demonstration of a new motion picture machine at the beginning of the 20th century, Carlos grew up to become a film producer. When the Spanish Civil War began, he ran off to capture the beginnings of combat, then returned to find his wife killled by a sniper's bullet. Convinced that his life was without meaning, Carlos has a life-changing experience when he sees Hitchcock's Rebecca and realizes that only movies can save him.
