Synopsis
Andre Aliker, a journalist of the Martinican Communist Party, viewed journalism as a form of free expression and as the means for pursuing truth in colonial Martinique in 1930. His commitment to this free journalistic practice cost him his life. On January 1, 1934, he was kidnapped and his body found twelve days later. The idea of drowning was quickly dismissed as he had both his hands tied behind his back. A case was opened and seventy years later the mystery still remains.
