Synopsis
Within a suburban housing tenement, we follow six individuals who seem to have a lot of time on their hands but do not know how to use it. A father takes his slow-witted nine-year-old son to a park, and then to visit an upstairs neighbor. The neighbor Tuo Ga has a couple of other slightly odd visitors: Xiao He who is truculent and aggressive, and his next-door neighbor Xiao Dong who is suffering an illness. However, the young boy is not interested in the grown-up interaction. Instead, he is fascinated by something noisy which he carries around in a bucket.
