Synopsis

When Joe Haller is promoted to superintendent, everyone in his family typically takes advantage of him, with the exception of Louise, his daughter. Mrs. Haller, an ardent matchmaker but overly protective of her daughter, makes the girl's life miserable. One night Louise meets Dick Grant at a concert. They become good friends and have a pleasant time until he visits the Haller home and her mother launches the usual routine; her father takes the situation in hand, however, and all ends well.
