Synopsis
Pamela Banner leaves high school and her nagging, middle-class parents when she finds that she is pregnant. She puts the baby up for adoption and takes a job as secretary to a rock music promoter. After being introduced to marijuana by her employer, she assumes the hippie lifestyle along Sunset Strip, sharing a room with a prostitute, Jeannie, and a drug addict, Jimmy. Despite her parents' pleas for her to return home, Pamela has become too enmeshed in the culture of the area to be aware of its dangers. One night, while attending an acid party, she takes an LSD trip, suffers through it, and is killed by a motorist on a Los Angeles highway.
