Synopsis

Scotland Yard asks INTERPOL agent Caesar Smith to investigate a large bank deposit in Rio de Janeiro, which has been found to contain some of the forture in bank notes stolen from a Royal Mint van. Smith learns that the money has been used to buy a coffee consignment and follows the trail to Rome, Paris, and back to London, where he prevents Cartier, an apparently honest importer, from sending payment for the shipment. After Venner, the cargo's purchaser, is found murdered, Smith goes to Cartier's warehouse and finds the rest of the stolen money. A fight ensues when the importer arrives, and Ella, Cartier's girl friend, tries to run down Smith with her car; instead, the vehicle skids on some coffee beans and pins her lover to a wall.
