Synopsis
A young police detective (Robert Kelljan) becomes emotionally involved in the case of a lonely young woman (Arline Sax) against the advice of his superior (John Hoyt). Arrested for shooting a prowler, the woman is absolved of guilt and released. However, the strange disappearance of her dominating older sister (Arline Sax) and her fear of her father (Elisha Cook) provoke the detective's interest. The young woman is brutally raped by a crazed beatnik artist (King Moody). Terrorized, she flees to a zoo where she falls into the bear pit. The resourceful detective arrives in the nick of time and rescues her.
