Convicts on a chain gang sniff expermental formaldehyde fumes to get high. They attempt a prison break and are shot down by the guards. Buried in the prison garden, they rise from the dead, killing all in thier path with shovels and hoes who get in thier way for thier quest to get high once more off the formaldehyde.

Synopsis
When a group of convicts in a maximum-security prison try to get high using chloroform and formaldehyde, it causes them to be overcome by rage. When their behavior triggers a riot, the drugged-out convicts are shot and killed by guards. After their deaths, the formaldehyde-preserved convicts rise from their graves as zombies bent on revenge against the guards and the warden of the prison.
