Synopsis

Although he is very much in love with Lil, girl-shy Sandy Jenkins lacks the courage to propose; but his rival, Wyn Huntley, having both money and leisure, gives numerous parties designed to impress Lil. At Huntley's suggestion, Eleanor, an old flame, vamps Sandy, but Lil upsets the scheme by staging a drowning act and is rescued by Sandy; in the pool he proposes, and she accepts. As they are preparing to spend their wedding night, Wyn interferes and later chooses their apartment and friends for a housewarming. Prospects seem brighter when Mr. Walker, senior partner in a brokerage firm, agrees to give Sandy a promotion for aiding in an oil merger; on the strength of this, Sandy makes plans for a suburban home, but at the housewarming, under the influence of liquor, he orders Wyn from the house, smashes the furniture, and alienates his wife. A divorce is averted when Lil effects a reconciliation.
