Synopsis

Fifi D'Auray, the sensation of "The Sins of 1930," is actually Betty Murphy, who from her chorus days has been in love with Jimmy Willet, a gambling youth, though she refuses to marry him until he gets a job. Gregory Pyne, a wealthy young bachelor, becomes infatuated with Fifi and bribes his friend Claire to bring her to supper. There she quarrels with him and leaves in a feigned huff; and to make amends, Gregory agrees to give Jimmy a job as treasurer of the theater. When Jimmy declares he has been accused of complicity in a robbery and a warrant is issued for his arrest, Fifi accuses Pyne of framing him; then Jimmy defiantly reveals their marriage to Pyne, who is completely disillusioned. But when Fifi learns of Jimmy's guilt, she sends him away and makes plans for a divorce.
