Synopsis
Matthew South, a middle-aged actor who has made his career in second-rate horror films, leaves Hollywood for San Francisco, and there he meets young Anais Appleton, who is running away from her wealthy husband, David, a lawyer. Matthew and Anais fall in love and begin living together. All goes well until a private detective hired by Anais's husband starts to interfere with their new life. Consenting to meet David, Anais tells him that she has found true love with Matthew; she returns to Matthew, but David later shoots and kills her when she attempts to avoid him.
