Brief Synopsis

Research scientist Seth Brundle invites science-magazine reporter Veronica Quaife to his lab for a demonstration of his telepod, which transfers matter through space. Veronica is around the lab for several weeks, and one day while discussing transporting humans with the device, she inadvertently persuades Seth into experimenting on himself. Unfortunately for everyone, Seth enters the telepod at the same time as a little housefly, with horrifying consequences.
