Synopsis
Set in the impoverished Cairo neighborhood of Ein Shams. A taxi driver named Ramadan picks up work with Selim Bey, a wealthy businessman heavily burdened with debt. Meanwhile, Ramadan's 11-year-old daughter day dreams of going on a day trip out of their crumbling neighborhood to see and experience downtown Cairo, much to her father's consternation.
